I agree that Game Day,Ms Viera and Kevin Sylvester rock!!!!! Also I liked the section about the hat designer because his hat designs were really original!!!!!!
DeleteI agree with Mark.This book was really good.It's so interesting to see "behind the scenes"!!!!No wonder Kevin Sylvester has THREE books nominated for Silverbirch.I loved learning how the field or rink stays at its very best,and how everyone keeps the crowd coming to the stadium.It was also really nice to hear the stories of the people who worked at the arenas,and what motivated them to become what they are today.And,yes,Ms.Viera TOTALLY rocks!!
ReplyDeleteI really like this book because it explains how it take so many people before during and after the game to make it happen.one of my favorite jobs was play by play announcer because the interview with him made his job seem harder then the actuall players because
ReplyDelete1.he has to know stats on all players playing
2.he has to keep the audience at home interested and stay tuned in to the broadcast
EVAN=>=>=>
I really agree with evan on how it tells you about the people behind the scenes
ReplyDeleteit takes to make all these games happen

i really enjoyed reading this book bu ti thought that it was a bit to detailed at some parts in the book for example at one part in the book it said 'if you mow the grass in only one direction, half of the piece of grass will be longer the the other half so its better if you mow it one way and then th other way so that both sides of the piece of grass will be the same length.'
ReplyDeletethis book was good but it would be better if it had less facts, he book was so jam packed that it seemed really boring to me
